“Crack” Applicator Position

Profile

• C Permit required as well as obligatory minimum initial training
• Staff on long-distance assignment from Monday to Friday
• Some work performed at night
• Skills required for this position: time management, independence, reliability and enthusiasm
• Good team-working skills

Roles

• Crack bridging implementation (thermal thrust, application of sealant, sanding) throughout France, based on:
  • the state of the art
  • safety recommendations

Tasks

• Daily refilling of the melting machine
• Loading materials for the site’s needs
• Setting up work-area signage
• Connecting the spray lance to the application melter
• Controlling the binder and heating fuel temperature using a manometer
• Applying the product using the spray lance to fill cracks and joints in slabs
• Systematic cleaning at the end of the project
• Carrying out daily maintenance of the machine (machine and vehicle levels, servicing, etc.)
