Aéroports de Paris – The safe choice for a major operation
As part of the renovation of runway 4 (08R-26L) at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, AEROPORTS DE PARIS has decided to install an overlay on the runway surface, which is currently made of concrete.
Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) water jetting has been chosen as the method to strip the current coating, thus ensuring a good bond between the new overlay and the old surface.
- Surface area to remove: 80,000 m²
- Work carried out: day and night
- Resources: 4 UHP water jetting units
The runway will be closed for 6 weeks from Monday 18 August 2014, and NEOVIA Technologies teams will be mobilised to carry out the work under optimum conditions.
