Clermont-Ferrand Airport – Runway maintenance

4th quarter 2014 – The Technical Department at Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport (Vinci Airport) carried out maintenance work on its runway 08/26 (3015 m x 45 m) in just four nights:

• Water jet rubber removal of threshold 26
• Regulatory skidding control measurements
• Bridging longitudinal and transverse cracks
• Caulking cable channels from the former lighting system

All tasks were carried out with optimum scheduling in a very short timeframe (4 nights – 11pm-5am) thanks to the resources mobilised and NEOVIA teams’ experience in airport works. Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport is now able to bring the markings on runway 08/26 into line with standards.
